Catriona Wilson
President

Catriona began her career in journalism in Sydney in December 1972 and joined the Australian Journalists’ Association in 1973. She worked as a reporter and/or sub-editor at Cumberland Newspapers, Radio Hong Kong, News Ltd and Fairfax and now works at home as an editor of all sorts of copy, having taken redundancy from Fairfax in 2012. She was on the house committees at News and Fairfax and was an AJA office-bearer in the 1980s, including NSW branch secretary from 1987 to 1989. She has been a trustee of the NSW Journalists’ Benevolent Fund for all but two years since that time and is regarded as the regular rules hard-arse. She likes to think she has mellowed.
