You may be eligible for the Student Loan Relief Grant, a targeted initiative by the NSW Journalists’ Benevolent Fund designed to support early-career media professionals. This grant provides a one-off payment to reduce student debt and help young journalists in NSW start their home-ownership journey.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Aged under 35
  • Working as a journalist in NSW
  • Financial member of the MEAA
  • A minimum of 5 years’ professional experience
  • Outstanding student loan debt
  • Do not own any residential property
